End of CNY 2007 Celebration...

Two weeks ago, we celebrated CNY 2007 (the year of the Pig). Well, CNY this year doesn't feel the same. Everything feel different from what we experienced from the previous CNY. Things are going very slow this year. Take buying CNY stuff for an example. Everyone seems don't really care about buying all the food and drinks till the last minutes (2 or 3 days to CNY). Is it because of the economy??? Or people are tired of CNY???

On CNY eve, the fireworks launch by Kuchingite was not as grand as previous years. Maybe is because of the weather. It started raining at about 9pm. When the clock strike 12am, when people usually eagerly waited for the moment for the big WAR (firecrackers and fireworks display competition...HAHA), it's still RAINING. Really spoiled the mood lah. *Sigh*

Could it be of the warning that was given out by the government on fireworks made Kuchingite don't dare to play fireworks before and during CNY? Come to think of it, the warning was given out every year. Kuchingite has always ignore it. This year only they listen? Hmmm, don't think Kuchingite are so obedient. HAHA.

No much visiting was done this year. I stayed most of the time at home. Felt lazy to go out. Haha. Still i manage to get lots of ang pau. Haha. Maybe people still think i'm still young so give me ang pau. A young working adult and yet i still have ang pau to receive. Not bad. Hahahaha. Get ang pau also no use. Lost quite a bit in gambling. Haha. Usual lah, New Year mah. Once a year. But luckily I'm not a heavy gambler. Cant afford to lose so much money in a short period. Juz gamble for fun. :)

Yesterday was the last day and yet the fireworks are not that happening. Money problem??? I guess so. The cost of the fireworks have increase from year to year.

Nothing much for me to talk about this year CNY. It just seem so bored. Hopefully next year will be more happening. Next year will be the year of the RAT. Hey, that's the year that i was born in.

Anyway, all the best to everyone out there in this PIG Year. Hope you all have a prosperous and good year ahead. Happy Chinese New Year....Gong Xi Fa Cai.
